This easy circular hike starts at the Revita Hotel Kocher and climbs gently to the energy pyramid on Etzinger Hügel and back to St. Agatha via Dörfledt. The Wander-Wirkungs-Weg is a journey of discovery that leads to deceleration and more ego strength through various interactive stations. At the centre of the hike is ego meditation and harmony with nature. Inside the pyramid, there is the opportunity to relax with auditory meditation exercises.

Harmonise body, mind and soul with the 4 elements of water, fire, air and earth. Two circuits allow you to experience the elements individually. Each element can be found in three places along the large circuit, with special resonance exercises so that the elements come into contact with the body and strengthen it. The starting point is in Wesenufer at the seminar hotel, and it is easy to get there by bike on the R1.04 Donauschlingen circuit. From the Revita Hotel Kocher it is 35 minutes and 12 kilometres, mostly downhill.

This wonderful hiking trail impresses with marvellous views of the Mühlviertel, the Alpine foothills and the Danube loop Schlögen. The starting point is at the church square in St. Agatha in the immediate vicinity of the Revita Hotel Kocher. The "Es muaß sein - Weg" leads uphill and downhill, offers magnificent views of the Danube and the Schlögener Schlinge, leads through meadows and past fertile fields.

By bus: the OÖVV line 692 runs directly from the St. Agatha town square to the B130 Nibelungenstraße, where you need to change to line 670 to get to the centre of Wesenufer. Duration: 60 min. Note: please note the current journey times for the return journey.

Starting from St. Agatha, this challenging mountain bike tour leads mostly on tarmac through the Sauwald cultural landscape. In St. Agatha, the route heads east along the Minichweg past the beautiful Fadingerhof farm to Götzling. A steep descent leads down to the sawmill and a steep climb back up to Bäckerhof and Sonnleiten. The route continues via Holzwühr to the chapel in Hölzing, then left on the gravel path to Hausleiten. A steep descent takes you down to Scheiblberg, through the Mühlgraben past the hammer mill and the village of Gschwendt to the Jagawirt inn in Riesching, from where you return to St. Agatha via gravel paths.

On the treetop walk in Kopfing an impressive wooden construction stretches 15 metres above the forest floor and over a length of more than 1,000 metres through the treetops of the Sauwald forest. After visiting the treetop walk, the tour continues to Natternbach to the IKUNA Nature Resort. At the IKUNA nature adventure park, young and old alike will be amazed.

Starting from the Revita Hotel Kocher, the route follows theR1.05 Sauwald Panorama Tour to Kopfing to the treetop walk. This is probably the longest treetop walk in the world, right in the middle of the Innviertel treetops. The impressive wooden structure stretches over a length of more than 1,000 metres and up to 15 metres above the forest floor. Experience unique perspectives in unspoilt nature with your whole family on a circular trail at lofty heights. At over 30 adventure stations along the way, you can explore the flora and fauna of the forest on a guided tour or on your own.
How to get there: From St. Agatha directly on theR1.05 Sauwald Panorama Trail by e-bike in the direction of Kopfing. The 23 kilometres to the treetop path can be covered in approx. 1h 30 min.

After visiting the treetop path, the tour continues to Natternbach to theIKUNA nature resort. At the IKUNA nature adventure park, both young and old will be amazed. On the 200,000m2 area there are more than 90 outdoor play stations, a 1,000m2 indoor park, a climbing garden and a tipi hotel.
How to get there: From St. Agatha directly on theR1.05 Sauwald Panorama Tour by e-bike in the direction of Natternbach. The 14 kilometres to the IKUNA can be covered in approx. 1 hour.

Starting from St. Agatha, you cycle along the R1.04 Danube Loops loop towards Schlögen. There you will find the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Roman Baths & Schlögen Roman Park. How to get there: from St. Agatha it's a 1-hour bike ride and approx. 9km mostly downhill to Schlögen. If you continue to Oberranna, it is 30 minutes and 10 kilometres from Schlögen directly on the Danube cycle path.
Crystal ship
Starting from the Revita Hotel St. Agatha, take the R1.04 Donauschlingen loop towards Wesenufer and from there continue along the Danube cycle path to Kasten. The Wurm & Noé landing stage is located here. In Kasten, you can hop on the crystal ship with your bike and enjoy the marvellous view of the Danube valley on an adventure cruise to Passau.
Arrival: by e-bike approx. 30 kilometres and 1h 45min on the R1.04 Donauschlingen-Runde to Wesenufer and then on the Danube cycle path R1 to Kasten.

The R1.04 Donauschlingen loop starts in St. Agatha and heads towards Haibach ob der Donau and on to Kobling. There you board the Kobling-Obermühl cross ferry. Take the ferry to the other bank and travel through the village to the Fischgasthof inn. Please note: check the current ferry times for the outward and return journey!

You can hire a boat from the boat builder Witti in Freizell and get to know one of the most beautiful sections of the Danube valley. Between the Jochenstein and Aschach power stations, the famous "Schlögener Donauschlinge", numerous castles, ruins, beautiful gravel beaches, but also impressive, steep slopes and charming villages await you along a river length of approx. 35 km. Hire possible from 1 May to September, 09:00 to 18:30
Outwardjourney to the Zillenverleih: cycle from St. Agatha to Schlögen, take the Schlögen-Au cross ferry and cross over to the north bank. From Au, cycle along the Danube cycle path north bank (stage 1) to Freizell.

Thekla Raffezeder has created a paradise for herb lovers on her small mountain farm in Haibach ob der Donau. She cultivates her property according to the principles of permaculture and also organises active herb workshops as well as herb and hedgerow tours. She teaches how to collect, process and prepare herbs and sells various products such as balsams and fruit spreads. The workshops and guided tours only take place by prior appointment by telephone.
Cycle from St. Agatha in the direction of Haibach ob der Donau, then turn off at the main road towards Hinterberg. Thekla Raffezeder's mountain farm is located in the immediate vicinity.

In the Donaumarkt Aschach, town houses from the Middle Ages and façades in the colours of the rainbow tell of the lives of burghers, boatmen and shippers. The historic town centre and market square can be visited on a cultural walk. The promenade invites you to take a stroll and you can enjoy the sun on the Danube beach. Tip: Get ice cream from the Weltzer patisserie and enjoy it on the promenade. It's also worth taking a little detour to the Eigenart to browse.
The Schopper and Fishermen's Museum can be reached via the Aschach culture trail, which leads from Kirchplatz to Schopperplatz and is equipped with ten media stations. On a night-time tour of Aschach with the night watchman , you can get to know Aschach from a completely different perspective, with many stories and legends, such as that of Dr Faust, being told here.
How to get there: From St. Agatha, take the e-bike in the direction of Königsdorf and continue to Dunzing, Hilkering and Hacking to Aschach.

Thom Feichtner's art blowing workshop and glass manufactory is located directly on Schopperplatz, where he conjures up robust and artistic works of glass art in his own workshop. Glass has been lovingly handcrafted for over 30 years, and the design is particularly well-known under the name "blue danube wave", inspired by the workshop's location right next to the Danube.
The historic town in the centre of Upper Austria's vegetable garden. You can stroll through Eferding along magnificent house facades, past traditional cafés serving regional delicacies straight from the surrounding area. Individual and special boutiques attract visitors to the town centre, but the large Stöcker fashion store and Trachten Holzinger are also ideal for shopping in Eferding. Austria's third oldest town also has a lot to offer culturally with the magnificent Starhemberg Castle. The Eferding parish church, popularly known as the "Eferding Cathedral", is also one of the most important churches in Upper Austria.

Feldkirchen an der Donau offers plenty of fun and action for water sports enthusiasts and active people. With the four swimming lakes, the wakeboard facility and the water ski lift with Austria's largest aquapark, there's plenty of fun to be had in the water. There is also a playground, a large motor skills park and a pump track. Not far from the bathing lakes is one of the most beautiful golf courses, the Donau Golf Club (9- and 18-hole course). Tuscany feeling in the Danube region, right next to the Puchner campsite.
The Curhaus Bad Mühllacken is located in the immediate vicinity of the Pesenbach Valley and specialises in fasting and conscious nutrition. At the Curhaus it is also possible to spend a feel-good day as part of a day spa programme. The Gasthaus Wögerer, the Mostvierterl, the Thalhammers and the Schlagerwirt have plenty of culinary delights to offer with traditional Austrian home cooking and are ideal for a successful end to a day trip.
