And of course of the nature that shows itself along the Danube in Upper Austria and is constantly changing. No two stretches are alike. Only the river, a constant driving force, remains at our side.
And gradually we get into flow with the Danube - while cycling along the Danube Cycle Path or hiking along the Donausteig Hiking Path -, let ourselves be driven by it, discover magical things along its banks. The impressions become more and the head becomes lighter. What remains is the feeling of being free and the longing to return here soon and accompany the Danube a bit on its way.

The common cultural area holds potential for transnational projects and coordinated activities within the framework of EU funding programs such as Interreg. Over the years we have already participated in several Interreg projects. Currently the project Transdanube Travel Stories (2020-2022) is running.
