All four landing stages in Linz are centrally located directly on the Danube. The most important sights - including the old town, the main square, St. Mary's Cathedral, the Ars Electronica Center and the popular Pöstlingberg - are just a few minutes' walk or drive away.
The Linz-Hauptplatz landing stage is located between the Nibelungen Bridge and the Lentos Art Museum. Thanks to the excellent infrastructure, direct bus access to the landing stage is possible. The nearby main square with its baroque town houses, the impressive Trinity Column and historical flair is an ideal starting point for a stroll through the center of Linz.
From here you can reach Landstrasse, one of the most important shopping streets in Austria - and the second largest shopping street in the country after Mariahilfer Strasse in Vienna, in just a few minutes. Numerous boutiques, cafés and cultural institutions make Linz's city center a worthwhile destination for visitors of all interests.
