Description:
We start our loop tour at the town tower at Hauptplatz square in Enns and walk into Linzer Straße road. We take a right turn into a promenade road before the road winds its way downhill. We hike along a chestnut alley that is a natural landmark. At the end of the alley we cross Mauthausener Straße road and the park and enjoy the view from the rondeau. We follow an alley back to Ennsegg Castle and cross the courtyard. Having arrived on the other side we take a left turn and follow Basteigasse road. We get back to the town square via Stiegengasse path.

Directions:
Beim Stadtturm am Hauptplatz in Enns starten wir die Rundwanderung und gehen in die Linzer Straße. Bevor die Straße in einem Bogen nach unten führt, biegen wir rechts zu einem Promenadenweg ab. Die Kastanienallee, durch die wir hier wandern, ist ein Naturdenkmal. Am Ende der Allee überqueren wir die Mauthausener Str., durchqueren den Park und genießen auf dem Rondeau den Ausblick. Über eine Allee gehen wir zurück zum Schloss Ennsegg und durchqueren den Innenhof. Auf der anderen Seite angekommen, biegen wir links ab und folgen der Basteigasse. Über die Stiegengasse erreichen wir wieder den Stadtplatz.

Getting there
By car: Take the “Enns” exit if coming from Salzburg or Vienna, continue on the B309, Forstsbergstraße road and Wienerstraße Road to Hauptplatz square.

By bus: ÖBB/Post buses stop directly at the Enns Hauptplatz opposite the museum. www.postbus.at

By train: From the Enns train station you get to Hauptplatz on Westbahnstraße road, Lorcherstraße road and Mauthausnerstraße road. www.oebb.at
