Here, nature and culture, holidaymakers and locals, cyclists, boaters and camping guests meet in the idyllic guest garden with a magnificent view of the Danube.
In addition to the usual dishes for a snack, such as our much appreciated Bosner (local hotdog), there are:

A special treat is our homemade soft ice cream, as well as our varied beer menu of regional and international delicacies

The guest garden of the donAu-Standl's captivates with a dreamlike view of the Danube, the informal atmosphere connects camping guests, Danube cyclists and locals.

Guests appreciate the breakfast with Danube view, the regional dishes and the homemade soft ice cream. Above all, however, the Steckerlfisch (grilled fish), which is prepared weekly or by prior arrangement. Our beer sommelier Arnold Hörmann recommends our own beer "Miraculix", which can also be found on the extensive beer menu. It is a matter of course for us to source products from the region.

In summer, regional musicians delight their audience on the donAu stand's cultural stage.

Located directly on the R1 Danube cycle path, the Danube beach invites you to take a dip in the summer months.
Our village, Au an der Donau, is highly recommended as a starting point for numerous cycling routes through the flat Machland region or into the hilly Mühlviertel.

In addition to our guest garden, the "donAu-Standl", we run the idyllic camping site "Camping Au an der Donau" and a bed and breakfast in the village.

A special concern of ours is the association "SWAN ÖSTERREICH", which works to improve the living conditions of the people in Nepal
