Description:
From the centre, this tour leads into Stephaniehain Grove and there past the erdstall. For interested guests, the history of the erdstall is described on a presentation board. The path ends at the banks of Naarn River, which you follow upstream until you get to a quarry. After a few more steps, cross Naarntal State Road and walk into the forest. From here the path leads to "Edtbauer"-farm, after that paved agricultural roads and finally footways will take you to the district of Pasching. Along the forest edge you’ll get to and cross Münzbacher Strasse Road. Along the course of the stream the path continues, after a few hundred metres a board reminds us of the Mitterberg castle ruins. After a short climb through the community forest, you’ll reach a settlement along forest roads, past Karlingberger estate and back into the town centre.

Tip:
The "Ratgöbluckn" erdstall is considered the longest erdstall you can still walk into. It has protecded status and can be visited by small groups from six (6) persons (contact Perg Museum Association and club devoted to preserving local traditions and characteristics). The local history museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00 - 17:00. here interested visitors can learn even more about the history of Mitterberg castle ruins and lots about the history of the town of Perg, its geological features (sandstone for the Perg millstones, and much more);
