ITINERARY
Day 1: From Linz to Aigen-Schlägl, approx. 45 km

Sustainability and experiences are a top priority on this cycle tour through the Mühlviertel - right from the start. From Linz-Urfahr, the Mühlkreisbahn railway takes you comfortably along the Danube over the "Saurüssel" up into the upper Mühlviertel to Rohrbach-Berg. By train, so that you have time to process your first impressions. From Rohrbach-Berg railway station you start your first bike tour - perfect for cycling and getting a feel for the Šumava region.

Day 2: From Aigen-Schlägl to Waxenberg, approx. 40 km
Gentle hills, green meadows, quiet forests and plenty of far-reaching views - whether to South Bohemia or as far as the Dachstein, this is how the second stage of your cycling holiday in the Mühlviertel starts. You will feel the peace and serenity along the green border, along the Bohemian Forest in the Mühlviertel highlands. Experience the typical flavours of this region: linen, bacon and a whole lot of philosophy of life.

Day 3: From Waxenberg to Freistadt, approx. 45 km
From Sternstein you cycle past the typical Mühlviertel Stoabloß houses. The cycle tour in the Mühlviertel takes you through herb fields to the brewing town of Freistadt. Honest, authentic hosts - whether farmer's wife or farmer, landlady or landlord - you will feel at home here. Afterwards, there's plenty to tell and lots to hear. This is what the Mühlviertel tastes like.

Day 4: From Freistadt to Linz, individual journey home, approx. 65 km

At the end of the stage you get back on the train, which takes you to the provincial capital Linz - to the starting point - because life is a circle.train journey from Pregarten to Linz.
