This circular route is THE family hiking trail in Bad Kreuzen. There is so much great stuff to discover for children, but with its nearly 7 kilometers it is rather suitable for older children. To enjoy it with toddlers as well, I recommend hiking to the 2nd Zwergerl station, about 1.5 km in, located below the Archehof Gruber, and then simply walking back the same way. In the near future, there will also be a dedicated kids' round starting from above and about 3 km long. A small detour I would recommend on the route: When you reach the elevation at the Prinz farmhouse, follow the detour arrow towards the organic farm Starzhofer; the farm shop is a real "gem" and is open 7 days a week. You can get organic delicacies from the farm’s own production to enjoy on site or to take away!
My tip: Keep an eye out for our "trees of life"; there are 2 to be discovered on this round!
