Description:
Circular hiking trail: challenging hike through Mühltal Valley across big Mühltal Bridge. From the town square the route leads via Edholz (Bauer in Hof) to Mühltal Bridge into the valley of the Grosse Mühl. Continue via Neundling, Paniholz, Markt Altenfelden, Höferhof to big Mühltal Bridge. From there the trail leads via Apfelsbach back to Kleinzell.

Our bakery was founded 70 years ago by Fritz Wolfmayr - at that time on the market square in Altenfelden, in the middle of the beautiful Mühlviertel.

Due to numerous expansions of the company or the relocation to Veldenstrasse in 1961, our company now has 19 employees who produce a wide variety of baked goods for you every day from the best raw materials.

The use of modern machinery in combination with ancient, traditional recipes gives our products a unique taste.

Our guest house is located directly on the town square in Altenfelden. In addition to the cozy dining room, we have a hall, two bowling alleys and a beautiful garden with tree shadows. Modern, renovated rooms are available for overnight guests.

Our traditional family inn is located on the market square in Altenfelden. Our dining room is a popular meeting place for locals, but also for our guests from near and far. Our outdoor dining area, where a large walnut tree provides shade, is very popular in the warm season.

Our traditional inn is known for the excellent cuisine. Only the best ingredients come into our pots, for the most part from suppliers in the immediate vicinity and also in organic quality. For special occasions and by prior appointment, there is also a roast in the Rein, knight's meal or tasty ribs.
