A bit of fitness can't hurt when cycling through the Naarntal valley from Perg to Rechberg. The R30 Aist-Naarntal cycle path stretches over a total length of 52 kilometres. The starting point is the Machland cycle path in Perg, the end point of the tour is the Danube cycle path in Obersebern, municipality of Naarn or Au an der Donau. Enjoy the nature park... The Mühlviertel Nature Park is a special attraction that is accessible from the Aist-Naarntal cycle path. On this sporty tour, cyclists are mainly travelling on country roads. The starting point is Perg. From here, the cyclists ride their bikes up the Naarn valley to Rechberg. Time and again, they come across bizarre granite formations in the nature park, while they return to the Danube cycle path via Bad Zell and Schwertberg. Incidentally, you should definitely make a stop at the ruins of Reichenstein Castle, where the "Upper Austrian Castle Museum Reichenstein" invites you to take a trip back to the Middle Ages.
