3a Anton Bruckner Trail (circular trail 3,500m) The trail was officially opened on 30 June 1974 by the tourism association to mark the 150th birthday of the great master and to commemorate his stay at the spa in 1867. The Upper Austrian composer is said to have composed the Kyrie of his famous Mass in F minor at this spring during his visit to Bad Kreuzen. This trail runs around the Mariahilfberg without any major differences in altitude. You leave the village to the west and walk through the romantic Hinterkirnergraben to the farm of the same name. If you continue along the meadow path, you will have a wonderful view of Clam Castle and St. Thomas am Blasenstein. North of the Hochwimmer farm, you cross the 3er-Weg (1,960 m) and the road and walk towards the Pfarrerwald forest, where the "Anton Bruckner Spring" /d/6, 2,860 m) is located. You return to the market through the parish forest.
