The Rottal Cycle Route opens up the famous "Rottal spa triangle" (Bad Füssing-Bad Grießbach-Bad Birnbach) and the scenic Rott valley. The route leads along well-maintained cycle paths and low-traffic side roads, is well signposted, runs parallel to the river and offers numerous opportunities to get to know the cultural and artistic treasures of this region.
The Rottalradweg connects to the Vilstalradweg in Velden and leads from the source of the Rott near Wurmsham in the district of Landshut to its confluence with the Inn near Neuhaus a.Inn in the district of Passau almost continuously in the scenic valley of the Rott through a centuries-old rural landscape. The varied route increases the appeal of this route. Apart from short sections with a water-bound road surface, cyclists can enjoy a comfortable ride on asphalt.
