This hiking trail has the trail number 2. This circular trail starts in front of the St. Aegidi municipal office and leads along pavements to Sauwaldstraße. At the Kellerwirt inn, we cross the road and follow the pavement to the right in the direction of Engelhartszell. The route then heads uphill to the left on a goods road towards Pamingerhof. After approx. 300 metres, a meadow path branches off to the right. Once you reach the panoramic road, continue left for approx. 600 metres until you reach the Flenkental goods road, which leads you to the Donaublick.
A "throne" here invites you to linger and enjoy the royal view over the Danube meandering through the narrow valley, the Mühlviertel and neighbouring Germany. 100 metres back, turn right onto a gravel path and then left onto the main road to reach the trout circus in the village of Mühlbach on the Erledtmühle estate road.
In addition to the tricks of the jumping trout, the tame rooster and the sawmill from 1820, there are many interesting things to discover in the quaint mill museum.

The path continues uphill through a spruce forest. Once you reach the Zimmerleiten farm track, keep left and follow the farm tracks and pavements back to the village.
