Just off the Danube Cycle Path, you’ll discover a region with crystal-clear waters, massive granite formations, rolling meadows bursting with flowers, and countless forests—the ideal conditions for passionate anglers.

What makes fishing in the Upper Danube Valley so special is the immediate, direct experience of nature at crystal-clear lakes and rivers, as well as the diversity of fish species: trout, char, carp, pike, zander, river perch, whitefish, and more.

The successful angler is an early riser. Even before the sun rises above the horizon, he has packed his gear and set out. He seeks out the best spot on the shore.

As the patient wait begins, the sun slowly rises, revealing the landscape that was just moments ago shrouded in darkness and bathing it in a deep, intense dawn glow. While deep silence still reigns all around, the angler enjoys this unique spectacle.

Welcome to the small but charming private marina at Hotel Luger. Guests have access to a 40-meter-long pier, which also accommodates yachts over 10 meters in length. Electricity and water are available in the marina for recreational boaters. Shower facilities are available at the hotel.
