What originally started out as a boozy idea actually became a reality in 2020. Even our great-great-grandmother Franziska appreciated high-quality food and loved the craft of baking. The legendary Kletzenbrot with her secret recipe has already won several gold awards.
Now in its 5th generation, the Aschauer bakery has been baking traditionally for over 125 years. Sustainability is very important to us and as baked goods have a very short lifespan, Moritz Aschauer focussed on developing an upcycling concept for surplus bread. Together with the Farthofer distillery, he has now succeeded in refining leftover bread into exclusive spirits.
