Many borders only exist on plans and in our heads. To what extent do they determine my life? Can I overcome boundaries? I explore these questions on a walk along the Innbach stream - on the parish border between Schönering and Alkoven.

On the parish border of Schönering and Alkoven
A beautiful footpath along the Innbach stream crosses the border between the parishes of Schönering and Alkoven and connects them.
Gracious and merciful is the Lord; great is his patience and boundless his love (Psalm 145:8)
This boundary - like many boundaries - is not visible in creation; it only exists in human minds and territorial administrations. Accordingly, the two parishes repeatedly overcome this boundary and work together.

• How do I deal with boundaries?

• What awaits me beyond the border? Fullness? Emptiness?
• Am I brave enough to dare to try something new?
• Where/against what/how do boundaries protect me (my body, my psyche)?
