Flying Cross
On the occasion of a plane crash in a wooded area between Entholz and Hochholding in 1943, a simple wooden cross was erected at the crash site by an unknown person after the war, which was referred to as the "Fliegerkreuz" by local residents. According to contemporary witnesses, the memorial is intended to commemorate the collision of two fighter planes in the air and the associated plane crash and was renovated and redesigned by members of the Kameradschaftsbund in 1982.
