Kunst am Donausteig

Two metal sculptures by artist Miguel Horn along the Donausteig in the Perg-Strudengau region are thought-provoking: the rock rider in Waldhausen and the fish ladder in Naarn.
The rock rider symbolises an old Danube legend in which a black knight throws himself and his horse into the abyss while the "two-headed Szylla" harasses him. The fish ladder in Naarn/Au on the Danube symbolises the harmony between nature and man. We humans utilise the power of water, but work with nature. Such as Austria's largest fish ladder in Naarn/Au an der Donau, which enables fish to overcome power stations.
