The Wesenufer local beekeeping group was founded on 9 July 1933 in the Königseder inn with 15 beekeepers. Founding committee: Obm. Adolf Königseder, secretary Josef Derschl, committee members Anton Leidinger, Anton Jungwirth, Mathias Höller and Anna Zauner. On 27 April 1935, the sugar allotment was 2 kg per colony at a price of 0.98 S. A letter from the Upper Austrian Security Directorate in Linz dated 6 Feb. 1947 shows that the renaming of the regional beekeeping association to OÖ. Ortsgruppe Wesenufer, was not prohibited. In 1950, the beekeeping farm purchased dark honey at a price of 16.00/S per kg and the 1950s also saw the highest membership level of 34 members.
The Waldkirchen Beekeepers' Association was founded in 1912. On 9 June 1912, the constituent meeting of the local group of the Upper Austrian Beekeepers' Association took place at the Gottfried Hörmandinger Inn in Waldkirchen.
