Hof Maleninsky, a city farm in Enns with more than 70 fruit trees. The farm produces fine cider, schnapps, fruit pearl wine, brandies and liqueurs as well as honey products.

Karin Maleninsky's small farm is located in the centre of Enns, surrounded by housing estates and right next to the historic St. Laurenz Basilica. An "urban farm" in the best sense of the word, whose heart beats in an old but lovingly tended farmhouse. Only just under a hectare of land belongs to this property. And although the Maleninskys were "career changers" when it came to farming, they brought their dream to life with dedication and passion. They started out producing cider and schnapps as a sideline. More than 70 fruit trees - plums, pears, apples, apricots and dirndls - were newly planted. In addition to the family with son Maximilian and daughter Anna, 35 chickens and a cockerel were also introduced to the farm. And as the trees grew, the product range continued to develop. In addition to cider, semi-sparkling fruit wines, fine brandies and liqueurs, sweet and savoury delicacies, honey has also been part of the family's passion since 2005. The specialities from the "inner city apiary" are refined with nuts, poppy seeds, blueberries and much more to create exquisite compositions. The Maleninsky farm has grown into a small business, with a modern extension carefully complementing the original property. However, the farm still harvests and processes the produce itself, just as it did in the early days.

Immerse yourself in the modern world of cider and brandy production!

The Maleninsky farm - a small "cittáslow city farm" in the best sense of the word.
It is located next to the historic Basilica of St Laurenz in Austria's oldest town, Enns, on the Danube, around 18 km from the Upper Austrian capital of Linz!
Cider sommelier Karin Maleninsky has dedicated her heart to the production of quality fruit wine/fruit sparkling wine, urban beekeeping and brandy/liqueur production.

In painstaking manual labour, we produce self-harvested, regional, traditional farm produce using the latest technology, refine it with explosive flavours and market it with a modern appearance.

Programme:

Cider package - 1-hour guided tour of the country's only "cittáslow farm" with a visit to the modern sales room and the hand-dug earth cellar. Tasting of 4 different sparkling fruit wines, various honey specialities and savoury fruit spreads.

Pleasure package "Most & Edelbrand" - 2-hour guided tour, content as above, plus exciting insights into the production of fine brandies in our own new show distillery and the additional tasting of 2 fine brandies!
