Danube Waller (catfish fillet)
Ingredients:
1 l beef broth
800g catfish fillet
250g carrots
celery
yellow turnips
15 small potatoes
approx. 50g horseradish
Preparation
Cut the catfish fillet into strips about 6cm wide, cut the vegetables into fine strips, precook the potatoes. Bring the vegetables, potatoes and fish fillet to the boil in the beef soup for about 10 minutes and then let them simmer. The fish is served in a deep plate with some soup, vegetables and potatoes and freshly grated horseradish. It is accompanied by fresh leaf salad depending on the season.
