A celebration of life.
We bake organic bread and pastries with the greatest care, sufficient time and only the very best ingredients to perfection.

Bread has been baked at Mauracher Hof since the 17th century, and over the last 40 years this lively baking tradition has developed into an exemplary organic farm bakery. We sow, cultivate, harvest and grind our grain in the spirit of ecologically sound agriculture. Only organic ingredients are processed at Mauracher Hof. With craftsmanship and a high degree of manual labour, we bake a wonderful variety of breads and pastries every day, as well as many delicious pastries.

Mauracher bread:
Mauracher bread simply always tastes good. Perhaps this is due to the simplicity of the sourdough bread's ingredients: freshly ground, sieved rye flour, water from our own well, mineral-rich rock salt and spices

Other products:
Pure sourdough breads such as walnut bread, wholemeal rye bread, sunflower bread, spelt bread, einkorn bread or vital oat bread
Light breads and seasonal breads such as our Sissy's Laiberl, pumpkin bread, Kletzenbrot
Baguette, ciabatta, toast & co.
Small pastries in many varieties
Spelt flour desserts
Ancient grain pastries
Wheat pastries
Foam rolls

PROGRAMME:
Ecology can be a wonderful excursion!
On the one hand, there is the enchanting landscape of the Mühlviertel that surrounds the Mauracher Hof. And on the other, our delicious, oven-fresh bread and pastries.
If you book in advance, we will open the (oven) door and (mill) gate for groups of visitors. Take about 2.5 hours of your time: during an informative guided tour, we will show you the path from the ear of corn to the bread and let you taste our fine baked goods and organic pastries in the cosy Lindenstube parlour
