Experience unforgettable days in the beautiful Danube valley!

The inn “Gasthof Ernst” is in the family ownership since 1594.
 
Guests are treated with rustic, traditional Austrian cuisine and pastries in our cosy restaurant and large winter garden. On our sun terrace guests enjoy the free view to the Danube, the forest-rich Danube valley and the castle “Schloss Neuhaus”. The seminar room offers space for 20 people.
 
The fifteen new comfort rooms, which are equipped with shower, WC, TV and south-facing balcony, are reachable by a lift. The entire inn and rooms are handicapped accessible.
 
Our own pier with 10 berths for motorboats is  located closely to the inn. The resort Untermühl and the inn “Gasthof Ernst” can be found on the sunny shore of the Danube, directly at the Danube Cycle Path Passau-Vienna, and are the perfect starting point for hiking, Nordic walking, Nordic blading and inline skating. Fishing licenses are available at our house. Our own wellness area with sauna and steam bath invites to relax and rest after an exhausting day.
 
For cyclists and mountain bikers a washing place, needed tools, replacement parts and lubricants for bicycles are provided.

We can be reached by car from Linz in the direction of St. Martin im Mühlkreis. Our house is located directly on the left bank of the Danube by bike or on foot. The Danube Cycle Path and Donausteig pass right by us. Right on the left bank of the Danube. We are still on the beautiful Mühlviertel side, surrounded by real granite. Our village is located under the beautiful Neuhaus Castle. The Donausteig and Danube Cycle Path passes right in front of the house.
