Sacred Music: Miserere mei

Sacred vocal music for Passiontide, featuring works by William Byrd, Heinrich Schütz, Henry Purcell, Arvo Pärt, and others.

Passion: The story of Jesus Christ’s suffering, mistreatment, and death on the cross, as recounted in the Gospels. But it is also an exploration of our contemporary history, which is largely marked by war, persecution, hardship and misery, hunger, marginalization, suffering, and death.

The music not only tells a story; it also offers comfort and hope by giving us a glimpse of a different, better world.
