Daniel Ecklbauer is today one of the most prominent figures on the Austrian blues and boogie-woogie scene. With great enthusiasm, stylistic versatility, and impressive virtuosity, Ecklbauer captivates audiences far beyond Austria’s borders. His musical repertoire ranges from classic boogie-woogie and Chicago blues to his own compositions, each bearing his personal signature.
Philipp Kopmajer, a drummer and percussionist born in Schladming and living in Graz, began his artistic career with early successes in international competitions, which were soon followed by a busy concert schedule. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and earned his master’s degree in vocal and instrumental pedagogy in 2009.
The two musicians share a special musical connection and have performed hundreds of concerts together. They consistently thrill their audiences with their joy of playing, spontaneity, and infectious energy.
