Since the early 2000s, she has released a series of acclaimed albums, including “The Art of How to Fall,” her acclaimed Tom Waits tribute album “Little Drop of Poison,” and most recently, “Always on My Mind.” Her powerful yet fragile voice and her captivating stage presence have earned her a loyal fan base throughout Europe and beyond.

Now Rebekka Bakken is back with her new album “Nord.” For the first time, the artist sings almost exclusively in her native Norwegian, opening the door to a poetic and deeply emotional soundscape. The music blends intimate original songs, timeless folk melodies, and spiritual hymns, resonating with both Nordic melancholy and universal beauty.
