Klangplatz concert: Vienna Dixie Collective

The Klangplatz concerts are an integral part of Leonding's cultural offerings and take place on four Fridays in summer on the town square.

The "Vienna Dixie Collective" skillfully combines their passion for traditional Dixieland jazz with modern elements. Their repertoire includes hits of the time, such as "Alexander's Ragtime Band", "Charleston" and "Oh When The Saints". Benedikt Wochner (sousaphone) and Oliver Marec (clarinet / saxophone) play with their six-piece professional collective in a classical line-up and are known for their energetic music and rousing arrangements.
