Sewing workshop: We are here - we are queer!

Visibility, safety and community through colors and spaces. Diversity in colors - fabric becomes statement.

From December, the Offene Kulturhaus Linz invites you to collaborate on a large flag of diversity. The starting point is the GLUMPERT collection by fashion designer and artist Peter Fellner, in which he experiments with queer symbols, sustainable materials and new forms of cohesion.

This idea is continued in the community project "We are here - we are queer!" - as a collective sign of visibility, safety and belonging. In open workshops, which are also suitable for beginners, people of all ages create their own flags from fabrics and other materials. Each flag carries individual colors, symbols or messages - together they form a growing symbol of lived diversity.
