Pichler & Waidhofer: Bild(ge)schichten

The artists Dr. Gertraud Waidhofer and Gabriele Pichler come from professional backgrounds that could not be more different: Psychology and banking. The common denominator is their love of painting.

The artists tell very obvious stories or send the viewer on a journey of discovery, playing with color, materials and layers of acrylic and mixed media. The exhibition invites you to pursue your own thoughts and fantasies in the individual pictures, which tell a story, so to speak. Through their complexity, the pictures can become a visual narrative and reveal new worlds in their depth. They open up space for your own interpretations and associations.
