Between indie rock, psychedelic and a touch of electronic vastness as unmistakable coordinates, one of the country's most excellent live acts is once again steaming towards Linz.
After years on stage, countless festival appearances and several acclaimed albums, Steaming Satellites have long been one of the fixed stars of the Austrian music scene. With their unmistakable sound between indie rock, psychedelic and a touch of electronic expansiveness, the band has built up a loyal fan base - not only in German-speaking countries, but also beyond.Since their debut album "Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party" (2006), the Salzburg band has toured throughout Europe and the USA. Their music has not only been celebrated in the charts, but has also found its way into the film world, for example with the song "How Dare You!" in the soundtrack of the award-winning film "Das finstere Tal".
On their latest album "Andromeda", the band around singer/songwriter Max Borchardt dedicated themselves to their love of Motown, resulting in an emotionally exciting and genre-spanning potpourri.
