Free Music Celebration

A formation of four of the most accomplished musicians on the Austrian and Viennese jazz scene, whose powerful yet sensitive playing has been inspiring and touching for years.

The fact that all four also have a strong penchant for improvisation is the salt in the soup, so to speak.

Original compositions and selected songs by Carla Bley, Albert Ayler, Sun Ra and Don Cherry are integrated into the quartet's creative flow like leitmotifs, acting as catalysts for free improvisation, both collectively and as soloists.

Surprising, exciting, witty, virtuosic, elegiac, dynamic and with a lot of humor, the art of improvised music is conveyed to the audience.
