"wos" album release show.
I don't know what it is, but it is something.A spectre has been haunting the music scene for 36 years - the spectre of slang punk. It goes by the name of Attwenger, cannot be caught and regularly appears in public in its current form. What is Attwenger coming up with this time? With wos, the tenth studio album. After most, pflug, luft, song, sun, dog, flux, spot, drum.
wos is. is wos. wos is going on now.
The electrified accordion takes the air from its surroundings, squeezes it together and blows it back into the environment through metallic tongues that vibrate and produce sounds. The beats of the drums and the sequencer as stable, restless pulses from different sound sources provide the rhythm. Everything is interwoven with fraying words, invented, experienced, exquisite texts that play with the language that forms the nutrient for the voice of the subconscious and superconscious. Swirled up by the music, the stories groove along.
Whatever it is, it's always something.
Many no longer know how and what. The high-pitched atmosphere creates tension. They're already turning on each other. Only: I don't want to ride the horses that have been saddled. There are possibilities between the lines that could be used for interesting ways out. But far too much is believed, far too much is needed. We could easily manage with less. The distribution of wealth, the distribution of interests, the distribution of music - what will happen? It won't stay that way, or can't stay that way anyway. When will society relax? How will it achieve equality? The great wind is driving us forward, even though we wanted to make a move ourselves. What is pushing it, from the inside, from the outside? You're king, I'm Kong, who's right, who's wrong. And even if everyone is glued to their cell phones and even if some find a fly in the ointment: we move on with energetic positions on shaky ground. We don't have to do what they say we have to.
is wos. hod wos. kau wos. wird wos.
