Top-class concert with the King's Singer in the Knights' Hall at Greinburg Castle
The King's Singers were founded in 1968 when six young choral scholars from King's College, Cambridge, gave a concert in London's Queen Elizabeth Hall. Two countertenors, a tenor, two baritones and a bass created the unmistakable "King's Singers Sound".One of the keys to the group's success has been its ability to maintain this special sound and to develop and renew itself over many years. The six singers offer a wide range of styles and genres, constantly expanding their repertoire, but always showing their origins in the British choral tradition.
The King's Singers represent the gold standard of a cappella singing. Their albums have won major music awards, including two Grammy Awards. Major concert halls around the world are open to them, e.g. Carnegie Hall, Elbphilharmonie, Sydney Opera House, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Tokyo Opera City, .......
The Kulturverein Grein once again guarantees a very special concert experience in terms of singing, style and performance in the Rittersaal at Greinburg Castle.
