NATURAL SPECTACLE: DISCOVER THE SUPERHEROES IN THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF THE FOREST

Enjoyable hours with ants, earwigs and trees worth protecting

We hike from the orchard meadow in the Obst-Hügel-Land nature park to a nearby wooded area that offers us everything we need to discover the superheroes with their superpowers. We settle down there and play and explore for all we're worth. Depending on the age group, we collect, build and investigate, laugh, sing and marvel. The children experience nature with all their senses. This builds a respectful and appreciative relationship with the natural environment.

We welcome the forest with a little song, after which we devote ourselves to a diverse mix of age-appropriate knowledge and games: From the different leaves, needles, and bockerln to the animal tracks of the many forest dwellers. We build and discuss imaginative bird nests, look for and paint forest gnomes, feel trees blindly, make panpipes and make them sound. We explore which animals and plants live in the forest and marvel at the diversity. Free movement, letting off steam and motor skills are also on the agenda. For example, a jumping competition with a trestle between our knees. Or when everyone becomes a big caterpillar by walking a rope together. Or playing burdock darts.
A breather for a snack is always included. We experience the forest as a friendly and inviting place that has many special features that we discover together - and learn to appreciate.
