Alois Riedl: Untitled

The exhibition "Alois Riedl. Untitled" is based on a minimalist concept that concerns both Riedl's works and his comments on their creation, inspiration and technique.

Born in St. Marienkirchen near Schärding in 1935, the artist avoids naturalistic depictions, meaningful titles or playful color chords in his work. The exhibited works are exemplary of his individual formal language, which moves between representationalism and abstraction. Simple pieces of furniture can serve as a source of inspiration here.
