They are rarely in the spotlight - and yet they have been shaping the sound of the big band world for decades: the arrangers!
This time we're turning the tables and celebrating the musical heroes in the background.
Look forward to the greatest and most ingenious ARRANGERS, whose music everyone knows, but whose names often remain hidden. Whether it's driving swing, cool grooves, sophisticated harmonies or iconic timbres - it all bears their signature.
From the style-defining arrangements of Nelson Riddle and Quincy Jones, who defined the sound of legends such as Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson, to modern greats such as Gordon Goodwin and Michael Bublé.
The swinging magic of Glenn Miller, the Andrews Sisters with their powerful voices, the unmistakable harmonies of Duke Ellington - as well as rousing hits from Roger Cicero to Raye - promise an evening full of brilliance, rhythm and goosebumps.
