Christmas Market Steyregg

During Advent, and sometimes even in the days after Christmas, a Christmas market is held in many places. Depending on the local tradition, such a market is also called an Advent market or Christkindlesmarkt.

Tradition, arts and crafts and Perchten in Steyregg

On Saturday, 07 December 2024 the Christmas market will once again take place in Steyregg . The Steyregg clubs will be taking care of the visitors' physical well-being in their tried and tested manner with bratwurst, smoked fish, raclette sandwiches, crepes, punch and more.

The Stadtsaal is the place to marvel: a wide variety of arts and crafts are on offer, from jewellery to carved, crocheted and felted items to biscuits, everyone will find a wonderful Christmas gift.
Christmas music was provided by the Advent wind players of the Steyregg town band, Mrs Alexandra Dobner, the Flikkwerk, the men's choir and horn players from the Steyregg music school.

Santa Claus will also be visiting the children again and he has a Santa bag for every child.

Everyone can also look forward to the scary and beautiful highlight in the evening: the Mühlviertler Rauteufel show their show and the artistic Perchten a piece of tradition.
