"Music may not change the world, but it can inspire people to change the world," said the Austrian jazz musician of the century Joe Zawinul.

Flip Philipp, a master on the vibraphone, was lucky enough to meet him at the beginning of 2004 to work with him for three days on a joint project at Vienna City Hall. This work left a lasting impression on Flip Philipp. It also provided inspiration for a new approach to the music creation process and its interpretation. In his homage, Flip Philipp and his quintet recall this and draw inspiration from the early Joe Zawinul. (Press release - MuTh Vienna)
