A city in upheaval: in the 16th and 17th centuries, the country house, palace and many town houses were rebuilt or newly constructed. Johannes Kepler lives and teaches in this magnificent city, and many of his research findings date back to his time in Linz. Power struggles arise between the nobility and the court. The Counter-Reformation wins. Kepler has to leave.
