HYPO New Year's Run Linz 2025

The Linz New Year's Eve Run is one of the most traditional year-end events in Austria.

TriRun has been organising this fixture in the sports scene since 2000 and for many, it's just as much a part of it as the lead pouring or the classic champagne on New Year's Eve. And, with us, the focus is still on amateur athletes and having fun on the last run of the year!

The routes:
Main run: 6 km (2 city centre laps of 3 km each).
Hobby run: 3 km (1 city centre lap)
Nordic Silvesterwalk: 3 km (1 lap, same route as main run)
Children's run: 1.2 km (2 old town laps of 600m each)
Mini run: 0.6 km (1 old town lap)
Bambini run: 120m (1 small main square lap)

The route runs on asphalt or paved paths through the city centre.
