Exotic jewels - tropical butterflies

Tropical butterflies are fluttering in the warm tropical house again. The colorful beauties never cease to amaze.

The colorful jugglers are back!

Even in winter, you can experience nature in all its splendor in the show houses of the Linz Botanical Garden. It will also be colorful in the exhibition house: here the tropical butterflies will once again provide a colorful hustle and bustle. There are 15 - 20 different species to marvel at - a unique opportunity to see these exotic beauties up close!

Display boards also provide information about the way of life and life cycles of butterflies and introduce the most important species.

The show houses are open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. The Botanic Garden is closed on December 24, 25 and 31 and on January 1!

Please also note that the butterflies may not be touched.
