donauFESTWOCHEN in Strudengau
The donauFESTWOCHENin Strudengau will open up new spaces for early music and new encounters from July 24 to August 15, 2026. Under artistic director Johannes Hiemetsberger, the focus is on music, spaces and people - with artist residencies that turn the region into a creative playground for new program concepts and distinctive narratives. The highlight is an extraordinary "Bach Opera" at Greinburg Castle, which combines baroque music with current issues of our time. Numerous participatory formats invite the audience to rediscover music and experience it together.
