Pilgerzimmer Pfarrhof Eidenberg
The Wilheringer Way, which opened in April 2026, connects the Wilhering Abbey with the Cistercian Abbey of Hohenfurth/Vyšší Brod in South Bohemia over a distance of approximately 132 kilometers. The pilgrimage route leads from the Danube through the Mühlviertel to the Vltava, linking two countries as well as two historically closely connected Cistercian monasteries. Stage 2 of the pilgrimage route runs from Puchenau to Eidenberg in the Danube region of Upper Austria. The pilgrimage room in the parish house of Eidenberg is an excellent overnight option.
