The Rilke Apartments are located in a completely renovated townhouse on the corner of Graben and Marienstraße in the centre of Linz. They combine modernity, style and cosiness. Book one of our 8 flats for two to 6 people from one day up to 6 months.

Our eight modern, fully furnished flats are the perfect place for your next stay, from one night to 6 months. With one or two bedrooms, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen and one to two bathrooms, this accommodation is perfect for couples, families, friends or business travellers. The flats have a wonderful view over the city of Linz, six of them with a balcony. There is also a parking space nearby, cable TV and WLAN.

The Rilke Apartment Suite is an exclusive 130m² apartment with a spacious living room, modern kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms for a total of 14 people for overnight stays and up to 20 people for celebrations or corporate events. The poet Rainer Maria Rilke lived in this apartment during his time in Linz.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
We have an automated check-in with access system. You will receive all information by email shortly before your arrival. The entrance to the house is located at Graben 19, 4020 Linz.

Check-out is very simple. Pack up your things, leave the flat tidy and lock the door behind you. The rest works automatically and without a key.

ARRIVAL

BY BICYCLE.
The Rilke Apartments are easily accessible by bike. The Danube Cycle Path is only a few hundred metres away. There are bicycle parking spaces in the inner courtyard of the Rilke Apartments.

BY TRAIN.
Linz's main railway station is an important transport hub in Austria and offers connections to many cities in Austria and abroad. Travelling by train is therefore particularly convenient. If you travel to Linz main station, take tram 1, 2, 3 or 4 to Taubenmarkt. From Taubenmarkt walk 100m along Graben to Graben 19.

BY CAR.
From Vienna: If you are travelling from Vienna, take the A1 Westautobahn and drive towards Linz. At the Linz junction, continue on the A7 until you reach the Bindermichl tunnel, take the Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Linz Zentrum. The journey time is approximately 2 hours.

From Salzburg: If you are travelling from Salzburg, take the A1 Westautobahn and drive towards Linz. At the Linz junction, continue on the A7 until you reach the Bindermichl tunnel, take the Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Linz Zentrum. The journey time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

From Passau: If you are travelling from Passau, take the A3 and then the A8 motorway and drive towards Linz. At the Linz junction, continue on the A7 until you reach the Bindermichl tunnel, take the Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Linz Zentrum. The journey time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

From Graz: If you are travelling from Graz, take the A9 Pyhrnautobahn and drive towards Linz. At the Linz junction, continue on the A7 until you reach the Bindermichl tunnel, take the Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Linz Zentrum. The journey time is approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.

From Munich: If you are travelling from Munich, take the A8 motorway and head towards Linz. At the Linz junction, continue on the A7 until you reach the Bindermichl tunnel, take the Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Linz Zentrum. The journey time is approximately 3 hours.

From Innsbruck: If you are travelling from Innsbruck, take the A12 Inn Valley motorway and drive towards Linz. At the Linz junction, continue on the A7 until you reach the Bindermichl tunnel, take the Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Linz Zentrum. The journey time is approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.

There is ample parking in the city, as well as in multi-storey car parks. However, it is advisable to check the traffic information before you leave in order to avoid possible traffic jams or closures.

BY PLANE.
Linz-Hörsching Airport is the city's international airport and offers connections to several European cities.

The airport is about 15 kilometres from the city centre and there are regular shuttle bus connections to Linz Central Station. From Linz main station take tram 1, 2, 3 or 4 to Taubenmarkt. From Taubenmarkt walk 100m along Graben to Graben 19, from where you can take tram 1,2,3 or 4 to Taubenmarkt.
