A real temporary home!
In the PostStation not far from Ottensheim's market square, the mail literally goes off. The building, which is more than 700 years old, has been carefully revitalized and a fascinating connection between the past and the future has been created. There are 4 different apartments available.
Host and “post master” Reinhold is a big fan of tarot. No matter which variant – he knows and likes to play them all. There are a total of 11 unique Tarock motifs in this typically Austrian card game. The post hostels are named after the first 4: Pagat, Uhu, Kakadu and Marabu. If you want to learn more about Tarock, you should have a chat with Reinhold.

How do check-in and check-out work?
Monday is the big changeover day in the Post hostels. From 2 p.m. the 4 hostels can be occupied. Check-in on other days is only possible by prior arrangement. There is a key safe for each post hostel. Each guest receives a generated code for the duration of their stay.
Check-out is even easier:
If you want to check out before Monday, no problem either. Just let us know, leave the door to your hostel open and the key inside. However, you should vacate your hostel by 10 a.m. on Monday at the very latest.
