Welcome to the Hotel Sommerhaus!

Our hotel is located in the university district of Linz, on the northern outskirts of the city, and yet very well connected. It is only a 7-8 minute walk to the Johannes Kepler University campus, a few minutes to the nearest tram or bus stop and only a 15-minute walk to the Pleschingersee recreational area.
Many cyclists particularly appreciate the short distance of only a few minutes by bike to the popular Danube cycle path. The bikes of our guests stay with us free of charge in a safe room, where even the tired batteries can be recharged thanks to the charging possibility.

Our newly renovated rooms invite you to relax after a long day. We have around 100 rooms (single rooms, twin rooms and double rooms), each of which is generously designed and equipped with WC/shower, W-LAN, telephone and cable TV.
Service and commitment are very important to us! Our reception is there for you 24 hours a day, so nothing stands in the way of your arrival, even at night, uncomplicated and around the clock! If you wish, you can end your day in our newly opened fitness studio. Or start early in the morning with some sport to do your body some good. Our fitness room is available to you from 6.00 am - 10 pm, naturally at no extra cost.

In our in-house restaurant.bar.lounge Mensa we serve a well-balanced breakfast buffet with regional delicacies from 6.30 to 10.00 am every day. For lunch and dinner, we offer delicacies for our guests from Monday to Thursday. From 11.30 am to 2 pm we spoil you with a choice of 2 self-service menus, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. you can choose from a small evening menu that changes weekly. All our dishes are available at moderate prices.

The international student residence Julius -Raab is integrated into our house. In a relaxed atmosphere with a pleasant flair, it is easy to make contact with nice people from all over the world.
