Our small hotel with 12 bedrooms is the ideal place for guests who also want to feel at home during their holidays. Modern, non-smoking bedrooms which all feature a bathroom, WC and TV. Of course bookable as a single or double bedroom. For cycling tourists we offer a roofed and safe bicycle parking area in our courtyard.

Under the direction of our chef Michael Wenzel we create a traditional, regional, seasonal cuisine which is free from flavour enhancers.
We offer trout and chars from our own pond as well as fresh herbs of our garden and so much more…
We also serve a great selection of wines from Austrian winemakers from the Burgenland to the Steiermark region.

…in the middle of the marketplace in Ottensheim, which was redesigned in 2001 by the leading European spatial design architect Boris Podrecca, Christoph Hager offers Italian specialities with a special wine accompaniment from the wine house “Vinothek”. Especially during the summer months you can fully enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere of our outdoor dining area.

A HOUSE WITH TRADITION...
…the first mention of the inn “WIRTSHAUSES IM MARKT ZU OTTENSHEIM” dates back as far as 1228. Since 1752 the existence of the accommodation and restaurant business is founded on documents.
Since 1956 it is in the possession of the Hager family. Since 1988 the business is run by Christoph Hager.
