Description: The Burgherrenweg Trail is a challenging route running through Donauleiten nature reserve up to Rannariedl. Past the castle and ruins of the former bastion, the trail leads along the ridge of the Donauleiten nature reserve to Dorf to the old court square with its gallows. From there it continues to the Teufelskirche butte - a very mystical place. Before heading downhill again in Pühret in direction of Kramesau, make sure to enjoy the wonderful view from Pühretstein rock.
Tip: Explore numerous historic ruins and enjoy the wonderful views of the Danube.
