Getting there
By car: Obernzell is easy to find, even without navigation system and map.
The Danube shows the way. You drive into the bishop’s town of Passau, get on the left bank of the Danube and follow the Nibelungen river downstream for some 15 kilometres.
Once you see the majestic twin towers of a Rococo church you’re almost in Obernzell, the land of the Danube mermaid Isa.
By boat/ferry: The Danube boats of the Wurm&Köck shipping company head for Obernzell several times a day. The departure and arrival times can be taken from the schedule of Wurm&Köck.
The ferry operates all year through. There is a reduced timetable in the winter.
