The Machland region between Perg and the Danube in the eastern Mühlviertel is a charming and fertile area - but above all a flat region and therefore ideal for family cycle tours. From Perg, cyclists first whizz to Mitterkirchen, where a visit to the open-air Celtic village museum is well worthwhile. The route continues along the Danube cycle path to Au and from there to Mauthausen and back to Perg.

Route: Perg (R29 Machland cycle path) - Mitterkirchen (R1 Danube cycle path) - Au - Mauthausen - Perg
